How does the Y+R today compare to that of 5, 10, 15 or 20 years ago?

I think the pacing is quicker these days.  To me, the sets were more luxurious in the past.  We might have seen more location shots in the past.  But to me, the show is pretty similar across time frames from the standpoint that there's always peaks and valleys... some stuff I like, while other stuff I don't like.  (Although truth be told, I really didn't enjoy the Lynn Marie Latham years or the Jill Farren Phelps years.  I would be hard pressed to say positive things about those particular regimes.  Just my opinion.)

I was thinking about the big sweeping romances of the past--Jill Foster & Phillip Chancellor, Victor & Nikki, Victor & Ashley, etc.  I don't think we see much romance any more.   Cry
