Do you believe Tessa's story about needing money, and it's extortion over getting her sister out of the country illegally? Or do you think Tessa is just going to rip off gullible Mariah?

Personally, I don't believe Tessa. She seems too calm about it all. If someone dangerous was really after her, I think she'd be a bit more freaked out. But I also think it's a case of the little kid who cried wolf. Maybe we're supposed to not believe her, and then it'll turn out she was telling the truth?

Wouldn't these bad guys be lurking around if they are trying to threaten/extort money from Tessa? I don't believe her, but then I've always thought the writing is horrible for Tessa. Or maybe it is her acting, I don't know.
