Fast & Furious
Most performers new to daytime comment on the fast pace of production. Yet Loren Lott (ex-Ana) took it in stride, because she once worked as a swing actor on Broadway. "That means I was an understudy to five people, which means I needed to know five different characters and five separate scripts!" she explains with a smile. "As a swing, you need to be able to go on stage and do any of those parts at any given moment. I could get a call where they say, 'Hey, you need to be in the lead of this Broadway show.' And I had to be ready to jump in, know what I was doing and not be in anybody's way! So to go from that--with that kind of pressure--to [a soap], it 100 percent helped me!"
