Hi Debbie,  Think it is a miserable winter all over the country!  Can't wait for spring!

In New York we haven't had much snow this winter (I think about a foot total)
Lucky you!  I think we are getting your snow!  It is melting fast tho.

Who needs an alarm clock when there are birds chirping outside your window at 4:45 a.m.?!  I figured I'd get up early, get some stuff typed for work, then be able to post here before work like usual.  Microsoft Word and Excel wouldn't work no matter what, so I spent all that time trying to troubleshoot.  Finally got it fixed, but then I had to leave.  Now I still need to watch the show tonight!

It appears to me we didn't have a Character of the Month vote for April or May.  Since we've had a major surgery and other health issues in the family, I just haven't had time to do much here.  Will try to get those votes up yet this weekend, but it is difficult remembering who was front in center all the way back to April!  Please feel free to add someone to the vote if I don't get your favorite up there!  Rose

Too hot, and it's not even really summer yet!

I agree!  Today is day 2 of 100-degree heat with 32 kids crammed into the room without a/c.  Fun times.  LOL!

Hope you weren't impacted by the blackout in New York today, Soapoperafan.

This time it was my turn for a big power outage.  It was county-wide and made a lot of people think back to the power being out for days on end this past winter.  Thank heavens this one only lasted a half hour!

As posted in another thread, we're getting the heat this weekend!

There was a blurb across the screen today saying to go to cbs.com/daytime to give your opinion on Bold and the Beautiful.  All the survey asked me was my age and gender.  Well, that was disappointing!

I entered my age and gender, then got this screen:  We are experiencing technical difficulties.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for visiting!

I probably won't be posting much this week since I hate posting from my phone.  I'll be reunited with my laptop this weekend.  Have a great week, everyone!

I'm back from my trip and so far I've watched through Tuesday's Y&R and B&B.

Just put up the Ms. or Mr. September vote.  I had best intentions of posting it a week ago, but we found our freezer not working and all the food melting.  Not such a fun week.  Threw a large garbage bag of food out and ate more meat than normal since that was starting to unthaw.  Also, I ended up cooking a turkey dinner since that was unthawing.  We bought a new freezer, and it's sitting there cold and empty!  We went to California for a couple of days so haven't had time for much else!

Hopefully I can catch up later in the day.  There was a widespread Internet outage here.  The Internet's finally working now that I have to leave for the day.  The TV still isn't working, so who knows what'll be on my tape tonight?
