From the January 4, 2011 issue of Soap Opera Weekly (p. 7):

Daisy Gets Jana To Lie For Her

After Daisy scribbles a note promising custody of her baby, Jana changes her story about what happened when she was held captive.

"She's trying to win her way back into Kevin's heart," explains Emily O'Brien (Jana).

And she starts out by appealing to his stomach, surprising him with a home-cooked meal.  Caught off-guard, Kevin politely thanks Jana.  It soon becomes clear that Kevin is concerned that Jana has interpreted their night together as a signal to resume their relationship.

Meanwhile, Daisy learns that she could go into labor at any time, and tries to convince Daniel that he'll change his mind about the baby once she is born.  Too bad she learns Daniel still intends to give the baby up for adoption.  Daisy soon tricks her guard into letting her order pizza--and when the delivery person shows up, "It's Jana," shares O'Brien.  "It's the only thing Daisy could come up with so that they could meet."

Daisy quickly explains that they have to step up their plan.  She slips Jana a note, assuring that she'll get her baby once it's born.  "Jana doesn't trust Daisy," states O'Brien.  "She warns Daisy that she better hold up her side of the deal they've made."

Meanwhile, Daniel visits his mom for advice and is alarmed when Phyllis announces that she wants to adopt the baby!  Daniel swears that, if it's in his power, neither Phyllis nor Kevin will adopt Daisy's baby.  Phyllis quickly realizes that she needs help getting through to her son and changes course.  Soon after, she visits Kevin and details how they can build a stronger case for adoption by joining forces.  Phyllis pleads with Kevin to let her adopt Daisy's baby.  Kevin agrees to think about it.

As for Jana, she stops by the plice station.  "She wants to change her statement," O'Brien reveals.  Jana tells the detective that Sarah was the one responsible for everything that happened to her, while Daisy was nothing but kind.  Is it a move Kevin will take kindly to?
