The Colonnade Room proudly presents our favorite character for August, 2023, a.k.a. Ms. August:Susan Walters, otherwise known as Diane Jenkins!
After months, even years of hatred between Ashley Abbott and Diane Jenkins, it came as a shock to Ashley (and to us) when Diane saved Ashley's life. Diane Jenkins, long portrayed by actress Susan Walters, moved quickly and decisively to save the choking Ashley by performing the Heimlich Maneuver. A very concerned Diane then encouraged Ashley to go to the hospital for examination and also offered her a ride to her hotel. Diane's kindness caused Ashley to drop her battle with Diane and Jack over Jabot. Diane won our hearts and our votes for this month anyway!
